Every child develops in their own way and at their own pace. We provide the calm, structure and personal attention that this requires.
At Samen Groeien, every child receives support that matches their development and support needs. Together with parents, we draw up an individual support plan with clear and achievable goals. Where relevant, we take on board the information and advice of the professionals involved.
We work in a development-focused way on motor, communication, cognitive and social-emotional skills, among others, and on the child's self-reliance. In doing so, we match the developmental level and abilities of each child. A recognisable daily structure, fixed moments and repetition create calm, clarity and predictability.
For young children with a developmental delay or additional support needs. We build on what your child can already do and take it step by step from there.
Deliberately small groups, so that every child receives genuine attention and feels seen and safe.
A recognisable daily structure brings calm and predictability. That gives children room to grow.
We keep parents actively involved in their child's development and, where needed, coordinate with referrers and other professionals involved.
We encourage understanding and expressing language, making contact and communication skills.
We practise making contact, playing together, recognising emotions and getting along with others.
We work on attention, understanding, exploring, cause and effect, and learning new skills.
We encourage both gross and fine motor skills, with attention to movement, balance, coordination and manual dexterity.
We support children step by step with daily tasks and routines, so that they can become increasingly independent.
We help children cope with stimuli, recognise tension and, where needed, find calm and support.
Our day programme runs from 09:00 to 15:00. Within that time we work with a recognisable and calm daily structure, with room for focused development moments, movement and outdoor play, food and drink, rest, everyday skills and personal support.
At Samen Groeien, we believe it is important that the support time agreed or allocated for a child is actually used for support and development. Throughout the day, children are given the time and attention to work on their goals step by step.
We tailor the support to what each child needs. Alongside shared moments in the small group, there is also room, where appropriate, for individual support and one-to-one moments. The precise shape of the day may differ from child to child and from group to group; the recognisable structure always remains the starting point.
From introduction to growth in four clear steps. Each child's development is followed carefully. We regularly discuss which steps have been taken and fine-tune the support further where needed.
We take the time to get to know the child and parents and discuss the support needs, expectations and what matters most in the support.
We look at how the child responds, what is already going well and where extra support is needed. We tailor the start to the child and, where needed, build up gently.
Together with parents, we draw up an individual support plan with clear and achievable goals. The support is tailored to the child's developmental level, abilities and needs.
We follow the child's development carefully and regularly discuss which steps have been taken. Where needed, we adjust goals and support, so that they continue to match the child.
Children are collected from home between 08:00 and 09:00 by our regular driver. After the day programme ends at 15:00, they are brought back home again.
We believe it is important that the transport is calm, familiar and safe too. Children are always transported in a suitable child seat or on an appropriate booster seat, matched to their age and height. Before departure, we carefully check that every child is safely and correctly secured.
This way, the day begins and ends with a familiar face, clear arrangements and the attention to safety that parents may expect from us.
