For referrers & municipalities
Samen Groeien provides small-scale, development-focused support to young children who need extra support in their development. We work towards clear goals, with an individual support plan and regular evaluation moments.
Target group
- Young children with a developmental delay or additional support needs
- Children for whom regular childcare or a larger group is not suitable
- Children who benefit from structure, a small-scale setting and personal support
What we offer
- Specialist day support in a small-scale setting
- An individual support plan with clear and achievable goals
- A recognisable daily structure, regular support workers and door-to-door transport
Approach
- Introductory meeting and observation focused on the child's support needs
- Regular evaluation and reporting on the child's development
- Coordination with parents and, where needed, the professionals and referrers involved
Funding
The support falls under the Dutch Youth Act (Jeugdwet) and is generally funded through the municipality.
Personal budget (PGB)
Parents purchase the support with a personal budget (PGB) awarded by the municipality. Payment is handled through the SVB (the Dutch Social Insurance Bank). We provide the supporting evidence and reports needed for the award and its renewal.

How a referral works
Short lines of communication and clear coordination, for you and for the family.
Registration or consultation
A child can be registered via the registration form or after prior consultation about their support needs.
Intake with the family
We arrange an introductory meeting with the parents/carers and discuss the support question, goals and practical options.
Support begins
Once the arrangements are in place, we start the support and work with an individual support plan with clear and achievable goals.
Evaluation & reporting
We evaluate the child's development periodically and report where needed on progress, goals and next steps.
